The David Lynch Crowd

A new group created for the intrigued, experienced, and the inexperienced--for those curious about David Lynch and his work. Based in Rochester, NY, the group will have special "events" here on Facebook and will also have occasional meetings. Though meetings will occur more frequently in the Rochester area, they can also be held online, in other cities, villages, or places.

The George Eastman House in Rochester, NY will present a screening of David Lynch's work, Eraserhead, May 21, 2010.

A website dedicated to The David Lynch Crowd will be established in the foreseeable future. At this time one page (with some links) is available here, on Kista Tucker's site.

 

The "Crowd's" first real life meeting, "A David Lynch Evening," was Tuesday, November 17th at 6:30 PM at Lift Bridge Book Shop in Brockport, NY. Free. Our second meeting was Wednesday, March 24 at Starry Nites Cafe in Rochester, NY. Stay tuned for details of our next meeting. You don't have to be a member to attend.

Under the Entertainment & Art category on Facebook there are several types, not just celebrities, that could have been chosen. Could have selected "Book & Literature," "Fine Arts," "Movies," "Performing Arts," "Television," "Theater," "General," and "Comics & Animation." David Lynch is an artist, a human being with many interests.
